It's a big week for Auburn with Georiga on the schedule. Let's start it out with some college football links for your viewing pleasure:

• Georgia has gotten its running game on track ever since the fourth quarter of the Vanderbilt game a few weeks ago, writes David Hale of the Macon Telegraph.

• The Bulldogs' 10-year bowl streak is on the line, writes Marc Weiszer of the Athens Banner-Herald. After Auburn, Georgia plays Kentucky and Georgia Tech. None of those games are gimmes.

• Georgia's looking to finish the final quarter of its season strong, writes Tim Tucker of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

• The best is yet to come for the Bulldogs' young pups, writes David Ching of the Athens Banner-Herald.

• Jerry Hinnen of the War Eagle Reader has a solid breakdown of Auburn's bowl outlook.

• Hinnen also has some knee-jerk reactions from Saturday's romp against Furman.

• It's Cotton and Capital One according to a pair of ESPN's bowl projections.

• ESPN.com blogger Chris Low has his latest SEC bowl projections out. He has Auburn going to the Cotton.

• Auburn continues to climb Low's power rankings too, although it's odd that the Tigers still remain behind a Tennessee team they beat soundly in Knoxville earlier this year.

• The SEC championship game is set between Alabama and Florida, writes John Zenor of the Associated Press. Now both teams just have to not slip up to make it a de facto national semifinal.

• Wide receiver Julio Jones showed up in a big way for the Crimson Tide on Saturday against LSU, writes Bill Bryant of the Huntsville Times.

• Nick Saban and Alabama have larger goals than just winning the SEC West, writes Kevin Scarbinsky of the Birmingham News.

• Ray Melick of the Birmingham News writes that SEC officials can't escape the shadow of doubt. They botched another call at Alabama last week. That's not helping the league's image right now.

• Georgia Tech coach Paul Johnson went for it on fourth-and-inches late in a game against Wake Forest last week. The gamble -- which really wasn't one if you ask Johnson -- paid off writes Mark Bradley of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

• Nothing has gone right for Michigan coach Rich Rodriguez. Not even the post-game handshake against Purdue, when he was met by a surprise visitor, writes Pete Bigelow of AnnArbor.com.

• Notre Dame is no longer different from academically renowned universities when it comes to football, writes Stewart Mandel of Sports Illustrated. Couldn't we have written this 10 years ago?
