Auburn plane lands, Taylor not on board

Today's scoreboard: Auburn 1, Reporters 0

The Auburn University plane expected to be carrying the Tigers' possible new wide receivers coach Trooper Taylor from Stillwater, Okla., to the Auburn-Opelika Robert G. Pitts Airport was empty.

Not empty like the plane was some type of self-aware robot in a Transformers sense. Empty, as in it was just the two pilots.

It didn't appear that anybody was unloading a lot of luggage either.

So we have no official confirmation that Taylor is here. You've won this round, Auburn.

UPDATE: Taylor's bio has been removed from the Oklahoma State Web site. Take that for what it's worth. Curtis Luper, who was hired away from the Cowboys last Friday, is not listed either.

Some may feel squeamish about eating it, but rabbit has a fan base that grows as cooks discover how easy they are to raise — and how good the meat tastes.
