The state of Alabama's No. 1 recruit, Calloway had been committed to the Crimson Tide for close to 18 months before making a surprising switch to the Tigers in early January.
Alabama sees the 6-foot-1, 210-pound as a linebacker. Auburn was going to give him a shot as a running back. He played there most of his senior season at Russellville, Ala., running for 1,974 yards and 29 touchdowns.
Rivals ranks him as the No. 5 outside linebacker in the country.
