Auburn got its 19th verbal commitment for 2010 when Valdosta, Ga., offensive lineman Ed Christian pledged to play for the Tigers. All three of Auburn's primary recruiting Web sites -- AuburnSports.com, Inside the Auburn Tigers and AuburnUndercover -- reported the news this afternoon.

The 6-foot-5, 280-pound Christian originally committed to Florida State in February but backed out of that decision.

He is ranked as a four-star recruit by Rivals.com and a three-star recruit by Scout.com.

Christian is the Tigers' third offensive line commit for 2010, joining Shon Coleman of Olive Branch, Miss., and Chad Slade of Moody, Ala.
