Wednesday links (10/21)

Had to hurry with the links. It's a busy day. Enjoy. I'll be back with a video this afternoon and a practice update tonight:
  • There are no plans to put backup quarterback Jarrett Lee in for particular series Saturday, writes Randy Rosetta of the Baton Rouge Advocate.
  • These LSU-Auburn games always come down to the fourth quarter. That is not good for Auburn, writes Glenn Guilbeau of The Daily Advertiser.
  • Left tackle Ciron Black has not had the kind of season you would expect from a preseason All-America. Coach Les Miles has his back, though, writes Guilbeau.
  • Georgia Tech fans were hurt tearing down the goalposts after beating Virginia Tech last week, so now the school president is calling for a review of safety procedures, writes Kristi E. Swartz of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. The Wizard of Odds has a video of the teardown process. It's impressive that the students get it out of the stadium. It makes sense. They have a bunch of engineers there.
