Seldom-used tight end Bailey Woods is transferring to Georgia State, according to a report in the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
The 6-foot-5, 237-pound Woods played in 11 games last year, all on special teams. He was the team's backup deep snapper to sophomore Josh Harris.
Woods will graduate with a degree in public administration in May. He'll have two years of eligibility left.
He'll play for Bill Curry at Georgia State, a Football Championship Subdivision school which is in its inaugural season. Woods' father, Jim, was an offensive lineman for Curry at Georgia Tech in 1976.
Woods is a graduate of Walton High School in Marietta, not from Georgia State's Atlanta-based campus.
