Marietta guard Thomas O'Reilly commits to Auburn

Thomas O'Reilly, an offensive guard from Marietta, Ga., announced his intentions to sign with Auburn in 2011 on Tuesday. He made his announcement on the radio station 790 The Zone in Atlanta.

O'Reilly, a 6-foot-3, 315-pound guard from Pope High, is the Tigers' fourth commitment for next year and is the second offensive lineman, joining Cullman, Ala., guard Spencer Region.

O'Reilly had offers from over a dozen schools, including Georgia Tech, Florida State, Mississippi State, among others.

He intends to graduate in December in order to enroll at Auburn next winter, according to Rivals.com.

The Tigers hope to add another offensive lineman next Wednesday, when Spanish Fort, Ala., center Reese Dismukes announces his decision. Dismukes has both Auburn and Alabama high on his list.

Here's Auburn's updated commitment list for 2011:
  • Izauea Lanier, DB, 6-1, 190, Gordo, Ala. (East Mississippi CC)
  • Thomas O'Reilly, OL, 6-3, 315, Marietta, Ga. (Pope High)
  • Spencer Region, OL, 6-6, 330, Cullman, Ala. (Cullman High)
  • Anthony Swain, S, 6-3, 215, Gadsden, Ala. (Gadsden City High)
