- Oh, the stories are coming out now of Kansas coach Mark Mangino. Seems like some parents at Ellwood City (Pa.) Lincoln High in 1990 weren't too pleased with the coach's demeanor and tactics when he got his first head coaching job, writes J. Brady McCollough of the Kansas City Star.
- Mangino, as one would expect, went on the offensive as a response, going on a long rant on a radio show to answer his critics, writes McCollough.
