It's Monday. You've worked hard for four hours this week. Why not take a break and read these links? You've earned it.
- As you might have heard, Alabama's Mark Ingram won the Heisman Trophy last weekend. Hard to argue with the selection. A lot of folks will point out his stinker of a game against Auburn. But every candidate had one of those type of games. Believe it or not, even Ndamukong Suh didn't register four sacks in every game he played this year. Even though I voted for Toby Gerhart, I think Ingram was a good choice for the Heisman.
- Low talks about SEC juniors who could be early entrants into the NFL Draft in this video. He mentions Arkansas quarterback Ryan Mallett and a host of Florida players, specifically.
- This was probably predictable: new Notre Dame coach Brian Kelly's house in Cincinnati was egged recently. He's got enough cash now to get someone to clean it, I guess.

I don't know Andy, I kinda agree with that guy from Greenville. The trophy isn't wasn't it used to be. There was no way Spiller shouldn't have been there. Also, Golden Tate. The guy had a remarkable year. Ingram won in part because of voters' sympathy about bama never having a heisman. Toby put up more yards and TDs with less of a team. Look at last year and this year's candidates. You have to be on a good team to even be considered nowadays. Hell, Ricky Williams and Barry Sanders had to get to 2000 yards to win. Reggie Bush was downright electrifying. Bo Jackson,... well you know Bo. Ingram (as a sophmore)as good as those guys? I dont think so.
Check out these #s, then tell me Suh is not the bect player in the country.

I am so sick of all the Alabama news. We are not like them...we are not consumed with the other team. I wish out beat writters would stop talking so much about them.
Hard to argue with the selection? Good grief. Few Heisman's have been awarded in its history that were easier to argue with. Best player in college football? Please.
