Arkansas guard Courtney Fortson scored a game-high 24 points to lift the Razorbacks to an 82-79 overtime win against Auburn in Fayetteville, Ark., on Saturday.
The Tigers dropped to 11-12 this season, with a 2-6 mark in the SEC.
Auburn forced overtime when Frankie Sullivan chased down a loose ball in the final seconds and heaved it toward the basket while falling out of bounds. Andre Malone grabbed the ball out of mid-air and made a layup on a pseudo alley-oop with 1.6 seconds remaining to tie the game at 67.
The Razorbacks (12-11, 5-3 SEC) quickly built a seven-point lead in the overtime. The Tigers had a chance, trailing 82-79 with 4.2 seconds left, but Sullivan's three-quarters court heave narrowly missed, hitting the back iron.
Sullivan and Tay Waller led Auburn with 18 points apiece. Lucas Hargrove added 15 and DeWayne Reed 13.
The Tigers play again Wednesday at home against Georgia. Tip-off is 9 p.m. ET.
