O-line adds another big signee: Chad Slade

Chad Slade of Moody, Ala., signed recently, rounding out an Auburn class that includes six offensive linemen.

Slade, who is a ginormous 6-foot-6, 316 pounds, committed in July. Rivals and Scout both have him as a three-star recruit.

He joins Shon Colema, Ed Christian and Eric Mack as linemen who signed today. Junior college transfers Roszell Gayden and Brandon Mosley enrolled in January.

Slade is the cousin of former Auburn running back Stacy Danley.

Auburn is up to 23 signees today.

Here's Scout.com's take from Andrew Bone:
"Slade shot up the charts since the beginning of his senior season. He is athletic for his size and very powerful. He is explosive off the line and continues to work on his footwork."
