Ryan White another athlete for Auburn's defensive backfield

Ryan White from Lincoln High in Tallahassee, Fla., is the latest Auburn signee.

The 6-foot, 185-pound White committed to the Tigers in December. Although he played quarterback in high school, he's expected to play cornerback at Auburn.

He's not highly-touted. Rivals and Scout have him as a three-star recruit.

Here's Scout.com's take from Mike Bakas:
"White is a great athlete who will be going to play corner based on that athleticism. He played quarterback all through high school so he's used to making plays with the ball in his hands. At 5-11, he can really tun too. He'll need to develop his cover skills and work on the fundamental things, like tackling, etc. "
