Auburn missed out on one highly-touted recruit today when Junction City, Ark., defensive tackle Byran signed with in-state Arkansas. Jones had narrowed his choices to the Razorbacks and Auburn.

In other news, former Auburn commit D.J. Howard has signed with Clemson. He took visits to Clemson and Kentucky late in the process as things deteriorated with Auburn.
