Auburn out for running back D.J. Howard

In unsurprising news, Lincoln, Ala., running back D.J. Howard will not sign with Auburn. The running back told Palmetto Sports that his choice is down to Clemson and Kentucky.

The 6-foot, 195-pound Howard, a three-star recruit, has been an Auburn commit since July. His intent was to play running back in college and did not feel he'd get that opportunity at Auburn.

Howard will announce his decision between Clemson and Kentucky tomorrow morning.

I don't see the two things being related.

Scholly was pulled. Not his choice.

I hope young Mr. Howard has learned something from this experience. There's a lesson in there for him...
