Auburn's Fan Day scheduled for Sunday

Auburn's Fan Day is scheduled for tomorrow. Here's some information about it from the Auburn sports information department:
Auburn’s annual Fan Day presented by Golden Flake Snack Foods is scheduled for Sunday, Aug. 16 from 2-4 p.m. CT at Jordan-Hare Stadium. The event is free of charge.

The Auburn football team, football head coach Gene Chizik, along with the Auburn cheerleaders, Tiger Paws, Aubie, and the women’s basketball, soccer and volleyball teams will be available for autographs. Posters and schedule cards will be provided at no charge.

Fans are asked to enter Jordan-Hare from the west side of the stadium. Fans interested in obtaining Coach Chizik’s autograph (one item per person) will be asked to enter the stadium at Gate 11 (west side). There will not be access to Coach Chizik’s line inside the stadium.

The Auburn offense will be staged on the south concourse, while the Tigers’ defense and special teams will be staged on the north concourse. The Auburn cheerleaders, Tiger Paws, Aubie, and the women’s basketball, soccer and volleyball teams will be staged on the west concourse. Fans will be able to get their pictures made with Aubie courtesy of Academy Sports. The Auburn ISP Network’s football crew of Rod Bramblett, Stan White, Quentin Riggins, Andy Burcham and Paul Ellen will be signing autographs as well.

The east concourse and upper decks will be closed as will access to the inner bowl of Jordan-Hare Stadium and the field.

Concessions and restrooms on the west concourse will be open for public use. Auburn 2009 Football Media Guides and Auburn game-worn football jerseys will also be available for purchase during Fan Day. Home and away jerseys from the 2004-06 seasons will be available for $150 each (cash or check only).

All parking lots surrounding the stadium, including the deck, west stadium lot and coliseum lot will be open to patrons.
I'll post again tonight after we try to get some information about Auburn's second scrimmage.
