Auburn received its 15th commitment for 2010 Monday night when little-known defensive end Justin Delaine said he'll play for the Tigers. Auburn's three major recruiting Web sites, AuburnSports.com, Inside the Auburn Tigers and AuburnUndercover.com, reported the news first.
The 6-foot-5, 225-pound Delaine will play at Linden (Ala.) High School this year after playing football for the first time last year at Sumter County High in York as a junior. He was not ranked by any of the scouting services.
Delaine is a three-sport athlete who played basketball and was the anchor on Sumter County's 4x100 relay team in track, according to ITAT.
Delaine had offers from Mississippi State and Southern Miss, according to AuburnUndercover.com. He is the second defensive line prospect in the class, joining junior college commit Joel Bonomolo.
