The Tigers, who were idle this week, had a BCS average of .9682. Oregon is No. 1 at .9764. That's a difference of .0082, up from .0066 last week.
TCU remains No. 3 in the rankings, followed by Boise State and LSU.
The gap that matters — between Auburn at second and TCU at third — narrowed, but not significantly. The Tigers lead by .0687 over the Horned Frogs, closer than the .0721 lead a week ago.
The top two teams in the rankings at the end of the regular season play in the BCS national championship game.

The Iron Bowl win could very well bump us back up to #1 in the BCS. Then, it will just be a matter of if we can beat the Ol' Ball Coach twice in one season. That will be a monumental task.
