Lunchtime links: Wednesday edition (9/9)

Follow the blog on Twitter, then read these links during your lunching hour:
  • Joe Cox's Georgia teammates are rallying behind the quarterback after his sub-part opener against Oklahoma State, writes David Hale of the Macon Telegraph.
  • Ohio State coach Jim Tressel lauded Terrelle Pryor's compassion after the sophomore quarterback wore eye black patches during the first week honoring his sister and Michael Vick.
  • ESPN.com's Pat Forde is back with the Forde Yard Dash, listing Gene Chizik's strong debut as one of the SEC's high points in the first week.

ridiculous amount of info here. really impressive, thanks for the hard work. hopefully you'll be able to get the AU community involved in your blog soon, although i'm sure actual readership is pretty good.

by the way, jay tate's blog has an unbelievably involved readership, but his blog itself is nowhere near the quality of yours. and his readers spend more time socializing than they do talking football. by A LOT. can't stand going there for those reasons, and for the fact that you can't visit the site without a loud video ad loading as soon as the URL comes up. those of us reading AU football at break time have to scramble for the volume controls. not fun.

so good luck with the blog bud.
