Auburn's football team does its best glee club impersonation at Mississippi State

What does winning a conference road game do to a football team? It makes it happy enough to sing '70s songs in the locker room. Here's video of Auburn's football team belted out Bill Withers' "Lean on Me" after beating Mississippi State, as Sports Illustrated's Andy Staples wrote last week.

And yes, they shamelessly stole this from Pete Carroll at USC, who got the real Bill Withers to show up to a meeting a few years ago. I believe SportsCenter did a story on it because, well, SportsCenter covered anything the Trojans did back then.

It's a good song, though.

Back with more when Gene Chizik starts his press conference.

Well, it's about time we stole something from someone else. Everyone is using our TigerWalk idea now. WDE

Actually, I don't think it was stolen. I think it is just a new song that has been chosen to replace "Hard fighting soldiers" which they sand after games during the 2004 season. If you remember, Chizik was DC on that staff.
